- Jaipur’s “Taj Rambagh Palace” hotel has been featured in a list of top 10 heritage hotel properties in the world by Britain’s prestigious Travel Publication, ‘Travel Weekly’. Rambagh Palace has been ranked sixth in this global list.
- Indian Navy successfully test- fired the land-attack version of BrahMos supersonic cruise missile from Indian Naval Ship Teg, in the Bay of Bangal

– BrahMos is a joint product of India and Russia and derived from Russian P-800 Oniks or Yakhont missile.
- India has won elections to two subsidiary bodies of a UN organ focused on social and economic issues. India along with 12 other members was elected to the Committee for Programme and Coordination (CPC), a subsidiary body of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

10. India and South Korea signed an agreement to firm up bilateral cooperation in defence shipbuilding. Under the MoU, the two countries will nominate one shipyard each for this purpose.
