1. Senior IPS officer Geetha Johri has been appointed Gujarat’s new DGP-in-charge(Director General of Police) becoming the state’s first woman police chief.

2. According to KPMG’s India’s Annual Compensation Trends Survey, the projected increment for the 2017-18 is 9.7 per cent, a drop of 0.6 per cent from 2016-17.

6. According to the CBRE’s (Commercial Real Estate Services) Global Prime Office Rents report, Delhi’s Connaught Place is the world’s 9th most expensive office location. Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) is at 19th position while the central business district (CBD) of Nariman Point is at 30th place in this list.

7. Mobile handset maker Gionee (China) India announced its association with Royal Challengers Bangalore, while Kings XI Punjab has roped in bicycle maker Hero Cycles as principal sponsor.
