  2. China successfully launched its first unmanned cargo spacecraft ‘Tianzhou-1’ by ling March-7 Y2 Rocket from Wenchang Space Launch Center.

  1. Actor Aamir Khan and cricket icon Kapil Dev will receive the 75th Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Awards, at a ceremony on April 24.

  1. UNESCO has named Giuseppina Nicolini, Mayor of Lampedusa (Italy) and the non-governmental organisation SOS Mediterranee (France) as the winners of Felix Houphouet-Boigny Peace Prize 2017 “for their work to save the lives of refugees and migrants.
  2. Private sector health insurance company Max Bupa Health Insurance has entered into a tripartite agreement with GOQii (California-based a fitness technology company) and global reinsurer “Swiss Re” to help its customers reach its health related offerings.
    – GOQiiis a California-based fitness technology venture in Menlo Park that offers a wearable fitness band paired with remote personalized coaching
